When I was in high school, I didn't have the best grades in the world, and I did terrible on the ACT. I knew I would have to go Harper. It was the best decision I've ever made! I saved sooo much money by attending Harper. While most of my friends were 30k in debt I had no student loans! The faculty is always willing to stay before / after classes to help or tutor you. The professors also always have office hours. It's nice that your teachers learn your name and give you personal attention. I'd never want to be just a number at a large university. Since I've attended Harper I've gotten almost all As, but I definitely worked hard to earn them. Now the schools I'm applying to are offering me big chunks of change because of my GPA. I would never have received anything if I went to a university straight from high school. I love it here! I wish it was a four year institution. |
