I had high expectations with Emmaus. Sadly, it did not live up to them. My computer never could connect to the network, my entire time living in the dorm room, they would never come to fix it (called them numerous times).

There were several cliques of students (Yes, at a Bible college) and they were much more judgmental than students I had known at a SECULAR university. This attitude was somewhat passed down to them by a few members of the faculty, and is not something I would expect from any Bible College.

I was stolen from while there, and the lock on my door was broken once by another student.

Sadly, while there are a handful of truly caring staff and students at Emmaus, the bad outweighs the good. You will not feel entirely welcomed no matter who you are, because there will always be someone to judge your every little flaw and individual character traits.
