The nursing instructors at the time were strict and showed a lot of favoritism. The instructors took their favorite students for the great learning experiences. There was so much lacking in this program, that I don't know where to begin. The majority of what we were taught was how to make a care plan, not nursing assessment or how to interpret basic lab values, no, making a care plan. I also had to take two other courses, that I thankfully was able to clep out of, since I already had a BA in English. The instructor was teaching a totally different subject, " how to make money quick". He wanted us to buy these books that he wrote. I kid you not. Finally when I was about 3 weeks away from graduation, my clinical instructor told me and two other students that we would not graduate unless we paid for a tutor to learn 'sterile technique". Of course I paid the 100 dollars and took the course, and the tutor told me, " I don't know why you were sent to me, your technique is fine." Another poor student was failed last minute. She had gone through the entire program without any problems, then at the last week she was told that she would not pass. I would NOT recommend this poor excuse for a school to anyone.
