In about 2009, Roanoke came up with a bunch of different goals and plans to pursue more business and for them to be in the top 100 schools for liberal arts. The INQ courses are basically really hard classes that are more than likely not transferable for obvious reasons. This school is all about business. The prerequisites are probably the most difficult out of all of your classes. I am a senior now, and soon going to VCU for graduate school. Roanoke has its disadvantages and advantages. Oh and if you don't play a sport, your gonna have to wait till second semester to rush a fraternity or sorortiy. Good Luck. And the average gpa is very low, it is really hard to even maintain a 2.8.The classes aren't hard but the professors like giving out low grades because it shows that they are a challenging professor. A lot of professors get jobs here for research opportunities. The average course load per semester is 4 classes a semester; not 5. Some students can choose 5 classes, but it is not recommended. If you go to the professor a lot, then they will give you some slack for a grade bordering the next grade up. Just be aware of this school. Think long and hard. |
