TMC strengths are that it can help you grow spiritually. Especially if you have been in public school. The relationships that you can build with professors is unique. The school does have many weaknesses. It is incredibly narrow and self-righteous in many areas. The school does consider itself to be one of the only Christian schools that can give give you a Christian education. This self-righteous attitude has not changed in the last 20 years. Recently, I heard the president say that it was on the cutting edge in every area…this is a complete delusional comment. The school is behind in technology, their admission department is run by incompetent people and too many students work in key positions. This leads to incompetence, inexperience, and many errors. If the school wants to improve…which they don't because they operate from a world view that they are "cutting edge" then they will begin to hire competent adults in key positions.

In addition, the school requires students to attend church services 2 times on Sundays (mornings and evenings)so that you can fill your head with lots of doctrine and not be out actually doing the call of Christianity. They do not consider attendance to a Sunday school class church attendance. So if you like attending a Sunday school class…plan on church 3 times every Sunday. That is absurd for a college student to be required to do.
