I came in expecting to be intellectually challenged, surrounded by students who were serious about learning and being an adult, and being treated as an adult. Instead, the vast majority of the student body is below average intellectually, socially inept, and primarily concerned with getting wasted. The one review about 'bros and hoes" may have been a bit extreme, but was not entirely off. The administration does not care about you. You are nothing more than a dollar sign to them, as is the faculty (Google Duquesne professors want union). The only real positive of this school is the professors. Most treat you with respect and care about your education. That however, is not enough to warrant the outrageous cost for this university. |
