I grew up thinking Gannon was just a small school that no one really valued. I was proven wrong. Faculty and staff are helpful, and although I have heard horror stories about some advisors and teachers, most are very accessible and friendly. This is not a party school. Sure, there are parties on the weekends but you have to know people. Most students want to have a good time and do, just a little differently than their idea of typical college life. Erie is a not really a college town. I know it as a good place to raise a family. The city is fun to walk around and campus itself is only a few blocks, so classes are really easy to walk to.Overall, Gannon is a great school, just don't expect to have much of a partying life. People can be a little withdrawn sometimes, but that's just like any other school. Most people don't act like they are still in high school. If you want a small univeristy in a moderately sized city, Gannon is a good candiate for you. |
