Came to WVU not knowing a single person. Freshman year I lived in Summit and it was the greatest year of my life. Everybody living in the dorm was so outgoing and friendly/eager to make friends. Within the first week I had about 50 new friends who I still today communicate with. Course work is a challenge, but thats only to weed out the JERSEY TRASH. If you are hard working you will succed and do well here. If youre the type who is infulenced easy you will probably fail out. Dont get me wrong I use to go out Wednesday-Saturday, but you must know when to buckle down and do your shit. Over the past four years Ive made some great friends and have made memories that will last a lifetime. I wouldnt rather have gone to any other university. On a side not the city of Morgantown is a shithole bum infested hole in the wall, and the city really needs to do something to change the image. I would reccomend anybody thinking about attending WVU to visit for a weekend before attending. A real weekend as in getting blacked out and waking up having no idea where you are, then you truley will know if you can call WVU home or not |
