For me, I am an inner-city student who only came because it was a good school and I received a full ride based on financial need. Socially, the school is not for me. However, I couldn't ask for better classes and profs. The school is really a bubble, because people are scared to step foot off campus. People have problems with Hartford residents when they are being really stupid. Common sense should tell you not to walk alone drunk on Allen St (not part of Trinity) wearing expensive clothes with a Trinity logo. And when undeserving rich kids look down on those who struggle for the little that they have, then yea, I can understand why they are targeted. If you go here, take advantage of all the school has to offer academically, and don't be afraid to have a life off campus too. |
