I remember being in high school and searching high and low for the perfect university for me. I thought I knew what I wanted, but the things I wanted seemed to be everywhere and the decision was that much harder. Luckily, I was able to visit Georgetown and there was "that moment" when I decided that this was the place for me. When I got here I was not disappointed. The people here are AMAZING! Professors here casually talk about their relationships with presidents, CEOs, and founders of organizations. Students here are students who are ambitious and determined, but also normal. I know that may seems intimidating, but it's motivational. These people aren't people here to make you feel bad or less than; these people are here to show you what your very near future can include. I feel welcomed; I feel pride; I feel blessed. Coming to Georgetown has been an extremely rewarding experience that I wouldn't trade for any other university experience. HOYA SAXA!! |
