I graduated from UCF with a 3.8 GPA in 2011 and still cannot get ANY type of employment almost 2 years later.UCF has no school spirit.Football games RARELY get filled, even when student tickets ARE FREE.School spirit events are mostly just freshmen excited to be at a college.Students do not say hi, smile, hold doors, or even acknowledge your existence. Most rarely even look up from their phones. There is generally just a lack of enthusiasm that over-shadows the entire school.Students even come to school with FSU of UF clothing instead of UCFUCF does not feel like a college. Students come to class, patiently wait for it to be over, and then run out to their car to go home.No class participation. Many students don't even come to class unless for mid-terms or finals. This leads to a shortage of seating during tests. I actually have taken tests ON THE FLOOR because so many ?students? decided to come and take the seats.UCF is over-crowdedParking is horrendous/dangerousYear-round parking passes are $80+Class sizes are fairly largeBasically, it just seems like no one really cares to be at UCF. There is no pride. For a school of 50,000+, I only made a few friends and never felt part of a community.I guess it really is just a commuter school. Almost like a Community-College. |
