Statistical Analyzer:

The Performing Arts major for this university is awful. They only care about the success of a select few. The faculty for the most part is very closed minded and self absorbed. There are only five teachers who are interested in seeing that everyone learns something.Three are dance concentration professors and only two are theater professors. They are the reason I have not left this school. The faculty in this department and other departments are mostly rude and love to talk trash about their colleges and other students. If you are not a democrat and atheist forget it or don't voice your opinion. The students especially the ones from Lafayette are stuck up, snotty, and rude, this is also true for most of the people in the city. Admissions and Financial Aid are a joke here as well. If you are getting any kind of financial aid you must fight to get your money. They will lie and hold on to it for as long as they can. Corona Hall/Lafayette hall is also a joke everyone who works their is rude and inconsiderate. Parking is ridiculous. This campus also floods easily and the teachers have little to no understanding if you are late due to flooded areas. This campus is also the last to close in the event of severe weather/driving conditions. If you have any kind of disability don't bother with this school they are not very willing to work with you.The same is the case for adult/ return students.The only positive thing about this university as a whole is the library. This school has wasted four years of my life.

Advice: If you want a truly great all around experience then UNO, Tulane, LSU, or Northwestern are much better choices. If you really wish to stay in Lafayette (not recommended)than SLCC is a much better alternative even though it is a two year community college.
