If you start Ferrum already knowing people, you are in better shape. If you do not know anyone and do not intend on playing a sport it is very difficult to be accepted. It is a very cliquey school. Also, if you do not intend on going home on weekends, you will be very bored. Academically, Ferrum is very good to help get your grades up if you did not do very great in high school. We also have a high percentage of older students and enliste students so it is good for people who took a break from school. If you want the whole college experience (parties, social life) Ferrum isn't for you.
