Statistical Analyzer:

Overall the school is good. The facilities are decent, they are building a new University Center and the library is nearly non-existent. The professors are usually industry professionals, and sometimes you have to be careful because they are teaching to their own aesthetic and disregard your own viewpoint. Most of the full-time staff, however, understands the implications of hegemony. There are obviously staff members who care more than others. Getting stuff done can be a pain since the buildings are spread apart, and the elevators in some buildings take forever. Don't rely on advisors to get you through, you need to be in charge of your own destiny in terms of scheduling so get in earlier rather than later. Housing is very expensive, it is better to live off campus, or at least only stay freshman year. Financial aid is pretty typical, but the cost of tuition is very high and your supplies and living expenses are usually more than you can fathom. The staff in Financial Aid is good, much better than when I arrived. The registration is a nightmare and can be standoffish if you go in person or have to drop a class. Also they charge you a fee if you drop a class and you are below 12 credits, I am sure other schools do, but they are not transparent about it. The website is not that great for finding stuff. If you want to do Study Abroad you can, but the person in charge is never there, the guy in financial aid knew more about it than my advisor or the study abroad office. There is an on-campus medical place, it is alright. There are a lot of international students (mostly asian) and lots of LGBTQ kids. Sometimes the international kids take up a lot of time with the professor which can be annoying. A lot of the resources and time is spent on the Fashion program, the kids in that program are very arrogant and generally stupid, then there are the Lang kids who are very arrogant but generally smart. Also if you are conservative or republican, this is not the school for you.
