When I walked on to the campus I never got that college feel, I never once said to myself this is the place I want to go. I did have my reasons for going here however and I have now come to realize that I should have never chose a school based on those reasons. I can honestly say I came in with a positive attitude and tried to make the most of it, but after maybe about 2 or 3 weeks the flaws began to show themselves.

For starters, my classes are virtually useless, the math I learned in Quantitative Literacy (the more advanced general education math course) was math that I learned in the latter part of middle school and first half of my freshman year in high school, my AFC course was all over the place and while I did find the journals somewhat useful I learned almost nothing about business, my other business class did give me a greater insight into Microsoft office and surprisingly made me a better presenter but failed again to teach me anything business related, as for my theater class, I did love my professor, but the class had almost no purpose, I had some fun but at the same time I questioned why I was even there.

Socially, this place is abysmal. In the beginning, Centenary did have little events here and there and they tried to get people involved, but slowly that all stopped. I signed up for anywhere from 7-10 clubs, only two got back to me, one never posted when the meetings were and the other dissolved, also out of all the clubs I signed up for 75% dissolved. Intramural's are very poorly run, you don't just sign up and get put on a team so you can meet new people like other schools, you need to create a team of 7 people and sign up for the sport, this method allows for very few intramural's to take place. Party's are practically non-existent, if you want to go to a party you need a shuttle to take you to a club that's like 30-40 minutes away and its really hard to drink because again its a club and you need to be 21 to purchase alcohol, the sport's teams also host party's, however if you're not apart of that team it can get very awkward and not to mention "criminal activity" takes place at these parties, so its better to stay away. Also everyone (I know 1 or 2 people who have never left) goes home on weekends and are student lounges are terrible.

I did like the idea of tutoring centers and would like my future school to posses this, but aside from that there aren't too many positives. The food is sub-par and the people are very immature and have a high school attitude. 120 people have already left (one semester only) and I will be joining them this semester.
