This is a school for proactive people. If you want to be challenged and involved you must seek it out, but opportunities are there and the faculty and staff are very approachable and amenable to ideas. Because it is small there are lots of ways the campus can be improved and the staff is always to suggestions on how to go about that process. You leave knowing you've become better and that you made a difference with experience that looks good on a resume to boot.
