I hate this place. This university is so concerned about athletics and propaganda that there is nothing for the average student. Most classes are taught by TAs and not professors, so most courses are taught perfunctorily because the TA just wants to get you out the door so that they can focus on their own courses.

And as for social life, you need to join a fraternity or sorority and have a taste for booze and hard partying, if you want a social life. Otherwise you will just be ostracized by the cliques and frats that dominate the campus, and left to fend for yourself. Oh, I stand corrected: be a star athlete, and maybe the university will hand you everything, including grades, even if booze or partying are not your highest priorities.

If you really want an education and a good college experience, go someplace else! This place only cares about getting your money and using it to boost their local media impression and their sports teams. I'm in my second semester here, and I'm ready to get out.
