If you want a "real" education but don't want to lose your values or principles, go to Lincoln Tech in Nashville.

Pros: For some reason, Lincoln Tech has a dodgy reputation, but it's actually one of the more progressive diesel-tech colleges you'll find in the Nashville area. Though I didn't always agree with the liberal viewpoints of the instructors (you know who you are), I respected their right to say what they thought to my face and learned something about myself in the process. Let's just say I did my share of "experimenting," but I'm happy to say I made it through there with my faith intact.

Cons: Since morale seemed pretty low on campus, I thought it would be a good idea to come up with a some kind of school mascot. Imagine my surprise when I learned that Lincoln has never had a school mascot in their entire history! I do give the administration credit for hearing me out. I just wish they would have let me pep up the student body a little. Who would it hurt? Nobody!

Advice: If one of your current or former students offers to dress up in a costume and cheer on Lincoln, let him do it guys! College isn't just something you learn in books. Lighten up and smell the diesel. Go Lugnuts!
