I attended 1986 - 1990. Owner, Beka Horton taught freshman girl's Sunday School. A few weeks into my freshman year, we were in a newly built auditorium seating over 5,000 people. I sat in the back. A girl in the end seat of the 7th row began convulsing and having a seizure. Beka Horton was on stage speaking with a clear view of this girl and the situation. Beka proudly maintained her poise and continued speaking her Sunday School lesson, never skipping a beat. At PCC girls/guys are NOT allowed to touch at all. Therefore the male ushers were terrified to assist this girl. Everyone behind the 7th row saw what was happening and looking to Beka - again - co-owner of the school - to take care of her student. Finally, one brave male usher carried the girl out and into the lobby. Beka continued to proudly maintain her poise, train of thought and never skipped a beat with her lesson. To this day - that superficial "leader" reminds me of the priest and levite (priestly lineage) who walked by the hurt man, whom the Good Samaritan eventually reached out to. Shame on the Hortons and PCC, but thanks for the early heads up that I was really on my own. So much for parents feeling their children are in the good hands of caring "godly" folk. BTW - my 124 unaccredited "degree" isn't even acceptable for a substitute teaching job in the State of New Jersey which requires 60 accredited college credits - NOT EVEN IN THE BAPTIST/CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS!
