Students are very snobby, conservative, and close minded. Many came from catholic high schools and are very similar. Students dress and act the same. There is hardly any diversity on this campus- it's sad. Philadelphia is a great city, but the school is hardly in it. The students here think this is Philly, when they are too scared to go into Center City. I have heard students make comments about "black people" and how the surrounding area is "scary" when it's actually really safe. Public safety is terrible. They do nothing, and when they do give you rides they have a terrible attitude. I feel like this school only cares about you because of the amount of money you bring to them. The academics are okay and the business school is very overrated even though it is ranked. The social scene is terrible, the parties are for kids that did not go drink in high school. And you have to know someone just to get it, just an example of how this school cares about status. The food sucks, breakfast and dinner are okay if you get lucky. The dorms are likable when everything in the room is working - wifi, lights, or air conditioning. |
