First off, the students here are not arrogant, nor are they entitled, or snotty. I have been able to make friends with such a diverse group of people here that I never expected to meet. There are many students from all over the world attending USD and the interaction has been a truly beneficial learning experience. Being able to interact with multiple cultures daily has given me so many benefits. The coursework is challenging, the teachers truly care about their students and will do whatever it takes to help you understand. The campus is beautiful, the location is fantastic (we have ocean views throughout our campus) and the students here are kind, courteous, and motivated. This school has exceeded every single preconception I had going into it. This is not a typical "religious" institution either, it is secular, and there's no Christian proselytizing like you see at some other religiously affiliated schools. Greek life is great but not necessary, the food at the Student Life Pavilion is delicious, and there is definitely a sense of school spirit on campus. I'm very proud to be a part of this university which is in perpetual growth mode.Coming here was a fantastic decision, not to mention the strong alumni connection once you graduate. |
