BUT! something happened along the way where I was finding that I was unhappy attending SNHU, and here is why. The program that I was majoring had almost no classes in my concentrated subject matter, I am a history major who had a goal in mind, and history is supposed to be one of the most comprehensive majors in education. Yes, the intro courses were available but that was all they had and I had completed all of them. I ended up having to take American literature and some political science classes to get the history out of it. Also when I complained about this to my academic counselor, her response to me was to take the online classes, but I am not an online student, I am in the day program.I am changing schools, and don't care if it takes me a little longer to graduate, I want a great gpa so that I can go on to a good graduate school and make something of myself. I should not have to go take other courses that are not within my major to extract what I am looking for. |
