Overall, I loved the professors at UW-L - especially in the science departments (biology mainly). They were all really approachable and really seemed to care for you as a person- not just a number.

However, the advisers of the University are horrible. Many students, myself included, have been given wrong advise and as a result had to stay in school longer than expected.

The school of education is especially bad. They do not work with other departments and take forever to get placements done. They all put on a show in front of people to make them look supportive, but they are actually very two-faced. If you are planning on becoming a teacher- do not go to UW-L.
