I came to IPFW after spending 3 years at University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne. I can honestly say that my 2 years here was a very positive experience. The campus is not big enough to be intimidating but is plenty big to offer anything you will need. I studied economics and can say the business/economics faculty are top notch. Drs. Adilov, Rassuli, Bingi, Karim, Todorovic, and Ma are all extremely talented and dedicated to the success of their students. Former students on this site complaining about the academics clearly were not ready for college or did not put in the effort. If you are "college material" and willing to put in the time and effort required for a college degree (IPFW is not an easy, everyone with a pulse gets a degree type of place, contrary to popular local belief) there is no reason not to graduate in 4-5 years. If you go in with realistic expectations (social life comparable to IU Bloomington NOT found here, academics comparable to Ivy Tech also NOT found here) you have no one to blame but yourself for failing at IPFW. Thanks for your time B.S. Economics 2013 |
