Being an exclusively Online College American Military University is a Subset of the American Public University System other wise known as APUS and does not differentiate itself from APUS. there is no distinction between an AMU student and an APUS Student. the Curriculum and teachers are specifically apart of APUS. a the teachers were admittedly very structured but at the same time very strict about the syllabus. there were apparently broken links within the given course material and incomplete information within the given curriculum. but a student couldn't progress faster than the instructor allowed. the student body didn't interact beyond the discussion boards and the lectures were non-existent the syllabus referred to ebooks needed to understand the study material but beyond the syllabus the ebooks were underutilized if utilized at all. the school maintains the Satisfactory Academic Program. the SAP is a way of keeping students with high GPA's in and Denying students struggling with their GPA's due process of fixing their GPA's. the School policy for students with FSA (Financial Student Aid) is to deny the students usage of it if they fail to meet the SAP requirements. The school is "reasonably priced" compared to private schools and ivy league schools. the University is finance-centric with hidden fees and extra fees that are associated with APUS. |
