If you noticed, all of the previous comments come from freshman biology majors. Most of the comments sound like they are from the typical freshman who came to see that college is not one big party anywhere you go. I went to Kentucky for a year and then came home and attended BenU for 2. Kentucky is RULED by greek life, and if you are not greek you will not have a good experience at a school like that, and if you are there is a 50 percent change you will fail your classes and end up home. What these people need to realize is you have to pick and choose what you want out of a school. If you're expecting huge college frat parties every night then no, Benedictine is not for you. But the people here are extremely friendly and inviting, more than at a big school like Kentucky. The academics are great and you are not treated like just a number. Downtown Naperville is a short 5 minute drive from campus, so if you live on campus find someone with a car and go have fun downtown, there's bars everywhere and tons to do. People do have parties in the apartments right on campus. It's easy to meet people and even as a commuter for one year I had an amazing experience. Don't listen to those who have ONE YEAR of college experience behind them. They have nothing to compare this school to, and it's actually an amazing school. |
