The 'open-minded, global citizen' attitude that UofW attempts to harbour is absurd. 'Open-minded' to people who agree with their hippie hypocrasy, closed minded to anyone with an ounce of critical thinking ability. in classes involving history the first few classes are always, without fail, about objectivity, cultural relativity, anti-racism, and so on. These are all necessary things to learn, however the UofW disregards to put these terms into action in their course material and examinations. The best example i can note is the blatent villification of historic europeans, and the illogical glamourization of non-european cultures.ill note some examples of this anti-european perspective below |
