Statistical Analyzer:

The Boston University Engineering Department is a complete joke. Professors here are downright awful. Labs are a shit show with TAs that will provide you with no help. It seems as if the department is an old boys club filled with incompetent professors who have no idea how to educate. Grading is done mostly by undergraduates and mistakes happen all. the. time. Professors here are way behind the times and do not use technology in the classroom and have no idea how to use blackboard. Tests and assignments are not overly difficult, but the general terribleness of the engineering dept is enough to make you want to jump out a window. Overall:

1. Engineering professors at BU give the worst imaginable lectures. There really is no point in attending lectures.

2. Engineering labs are a shit show with zero preparation and zero organization on the part of professors/TAs (making labs the most frustrating things on earth)

3. Professors have no idea how to efficiently use blackboard or other educational technology (something most schools have successfully been using for over 10 years)

DO NOT STUDY ENGINEERING AT BOSTON UNIVERSITY. Don't throw $45,000/year down the drain for a terrible quality of education.
