College is about learning…that is what we are taught from day one of our lives. Here at Elmira you will learn. However, the skills to get a job with great ROI, now that is the question! Here at EC sure you learn skills. Skills that benefit you to only go on to graduate school or professional school. If you are a normal person and not a freak of nature that wants to be in school till the day you die; when you graduate you want to make a nice living (one that you can actually live on and pay your bills all at the same time)…this is NOT the place for you. Example, if you are middle class and your EFC is approx. 20,000 dollars (a normal middle class family)…you are sure as hell not getting any financial assistance other than merit aid to come here. So with that said you are going to be 30K x 4 years = 120,000 dollars in debt with a piece of paper, some skills (none really useful for real world applications), headache, and stress (OMG I can't pay my loans). So with that said…REALLY make sure this is the place you want to go and that you want to go on for further education! |
