Statistical Analyzer:

I am currently a Theatre major here at Eastern. My first year I was very enthusiastic about being here, because it was one of the few in-state colleges that offered my degree. Well about half way through my time here I've realised acting is not for me and I want to be more involved backstage. Well guess what? We have absolutely NOTHING in technical design for theater. Our only tech director got fired last year and they havent hired another. There are only two major professors here who are about 45% helpful and 55% biased and condescending. The department is a mess right now, and they have no idea what they are doing. AS for film, my boyfriend is currently a film major and that is just about as screwed up as the theatre department. The film program is literally only about 3 years old, therefore no funding, no equipment, and really not very good professors. Most of the professors are assholes who treat you like you're stupid. I love Eastern as a whole, its a great campus but the Theater and Film departments are not worth the trouble. If you can afford it, head to Cali right now. If not than good luck because you will need it.
