Statistical Analyzer:

First off I applaud Waterloo for it's Start Up scene. It provides students with the opportunity to create their own businesses based on an idea and work towards it. However other than that, coop is meh, it pays for tuition and profs in ECE aren't that great or motivate your interest enough to go to class. In the end you're in the program to get out after 5 years and get a 70k+ salary or work in Silicon Valley and get alot of money. The coop program is great for getting experience but CECA is probably the most shitty system/organization to exist in Ontario. They don't give a shit about students, unless you get in an extreme situation where your employer is physically abusing you they don't support you, instead they support employers since they want jobs. Employers a lot of times can be unprofessional and can fire when they want unjustified even when you're doing a good job. I had to contact CECA due to unprofessional and disrespectful and harrassing conduct from my employer and all CECA could say is "Oh wells." But alot of employers aren't like this but you'll probably have to deal with this some time or later when you get a bad apple, but you learn how to deal with it. Tbh, even though we're known for Engineering Math and science, only come to Waterloo if a. you just want to graduate and pay off your tuition and land a good job(Engineering) 2. Want to study in the Math Faculty 3. Didn't get accepted anywhere else you applied. Engineering here isn't as great as they make it seem.
