In most classes here I think it is pretty easy, except for the art and science classes. There's a possibility that those will kill you. I came to IC because they were the only school that told me I could easily graduate in 4 years majoring in Early Childhood & Elementary Ed, then at orientation they told me I couldn't. The water tastes like straight chlorine, which sounds really picky, but it's bad. Be ready to buy bottles/jugs of water. The food is terrible for you, the unofficial motto is "all carbs all the time." It's not even good tasting carbs, though. The new GenEd program, the BluePrint, is absolutely terrible. They're still adding classes and getting rid of classes so my high school dual-credit Bio credit they said would transfer came in as an elective, not even a science credit. They're really picky about what classes they'll accept for high school/summer work. There are a lot of on-campus jobs that are pretty easy to get, but you can't work more than 10 hours a week and sometimes you can't even get that. Most of them also pay federal minimum wage ($7.25). If you try to drop a major or minor, the professors in that department get really mad. Basically, I'd transfer, but I feel like IC's screwed me over too much: the classes I've taken won't transfer and I don't have any hope of getting out in 4 years if I do. |
