If you attended a summer program for this school or even visited, what you saw is nothing what the school is actually like. Christendom is a much different place when you actually go there. Its always so depressing and boring, there are a few fun events but mostly at the beginning of the year then it's downhill from there. Pretty easy to make some friends but all the students are in such exclusive groups that if you don't hang out with certain people in the first week freshman year you won't hang out with them more than 5 minutes any day all year. Social life has huge ups and huge downs. Over half the social events are dances and debates, so if you're not big on dancing or debating don't even bother. Oh and if you don't have a car your social boredom is ten times worse. Everyone sucks up to people who have cars… if you don't have a car you're not important or "useful". Not only that, the town of Front Royal itself is so full of rednecks, smokers, drinkers, and white trash that the fun you get out of hanging there isn't much more than what you get on campus. That sums up the social life here.

Moving on to academics, the professors here are so kind and available that they can literally help you with anything! Problems with school, addictions, etc. They are extremely nice. When it comes to school you could get screwed if you have someone ridiculously tough or unreasonable like O'Herron, Rice, and Linton, but that can be fixed if you switch out ASAP. At least 90% of the professors here want you to succeed and get good grades.

Student life…ok, they need to fix some things when it comes to how they handle situations. People have gotten in trouble for doing things that they haven't, like someone was disallowed from attending rome for being "gay" when she wasn't, and then they publicly shamed her by saying to so many people that they "fixed" her (trying to give their school a good name) when really it's not the case. They could kick you out for drinking but then only fine you for abusing an illegal substance. They don't make any sense at all. Oh by the way if you hold your girlfriend's hand you get fined. And what's the point in curfew? Most students are 18+, aren't we old enough to make decisions on our own? Curfew is for those under 21 or sophomore/freshman. Midnight every day. If you're late, it's a hefty fine for you. Not to mention room checks once a week. Not even my mom checked my room that often to make sure it was clean.

Maintenance…oh boy. There is only one building on the whole campus that looks less than 20 years old and it's the library. For everything else, there are cracks in walls, windows with missing blinds, doors that don't shut, doors that open even when locked, flickering lights everywhere, it's an utter mess.
