This campus has closed minded people from small towns or farms. They are very individualistic and keep to themselves mostly. They are not interested in group activities at all. The most friendly and open minded students have been those in the Asian American club. Most of these students are from Saint Paul, MN a larger city. Here is an example that best describes the attitude and ability of these students to get out of their comfort zone. A female student who is a Junior went on Thanksgiving break to the Dominican Republic with her Mother and Aunt. Students look fearful when they have to speak in class or do a group project. They like to have one friend and exclude all others. When it comes time to volunteer it is diffucult to find enough. It is very individualistic and boring on and off campus. The most action is at the campus farm when there is a birth. |
