There are SOOO many scams.

You will get an email from ECS (IT department) about how you have illegally downloaded a movie, you will then get message from a hotmail account telling you that for $1000 they can make it go away.

Parking is 100% a scam. There are 200X the number of parking passes than parking spaces.

Once you graduate they will inform you that you require another class, usually an independent study or some non-course work that requires you just pay them more money. They will hold your degree hostage until you pay.

You would think you could call the police but they Purdue police department are first and foremost Purdue employees. They are there to protect the University from you, not the other way around.

Most T.As don't speak English.

Many professors don't speak English.

You pretty much already have to know all of the material and prove it by taking their tests because they aren't going to teach you.
