Honestly, I didn't have much fun at PUC as I worked multiple jobs and was enrolled in the rigorous nursing program. I did enjoy the setting—beautiful campus and good study environment (aka, rural). And I certainly did receive an excellent education at PUC. I had impressive professors who were interesting, invested, inspiring, and clearly interested in my success; and I can only think back to one professor who was a complete disappointment. The nursing program is top notch. Every clinical site preferred our students to the other nursing programs. We had a reputation and were quick to get hired. I hired on immediately at one of the hospitals I trained at and immediately flourished. I was definitely prepared for the working field and have PUC to thank for my rising career. The professors really made my experience at PUC one to remember. While nursing classes keep you busy, the GE's and electives really created a well-rounded curriculum. I still think about my communications, speech, psychology, and art professors whose passion continues to inspire me.Can't really comment on the extracurriculars. As it is a faith based school, you will study religion classes and chapel attendance is required—I quickly found myself enjoying these elements and feeling more supported in a very important way. Food is vegetarian, for me it was fine, but also remember you're in Napa Valley—the food in the surrounding area is incredible ;-) |
