The most important thing that I can stress here, is that this school is NOT for everyone. If you applied to NYU (or any other school) and you are using Marymount as a fallback, YOU SHOULD NOT COME HERE. This school is for those who visit and fall in love, for those who look online and in detail at every program and know without a doubt that this is the school for them. This is not a fallback school, this should not be your safety school. This college is incredibly unique, offering classes from asian studies to musical theatre. This is a primarily theatre and dance orientated school, so that is something to keep in mind. This does not lessen any of the other departments though. As a psych and Poli Sci major, I feel as though the college does a great job attending to my needs just as much as dance or theatre majors. The social atmosphere is great here! Most of the students are opening and welcoming, and the idea of seniority doesn't really exist here. This is school does not have any sports or greek life, which I love, but it may not be a school for you if you are looking for that though. There will always be caddy bitches, but regardless the school has a great student body. |
