If you are not just out of high schoolthis school is not for you. I am in my 30's and I feel that, in some cases, I truly know more than the professors. The cost is almost $1k/credit hour and I had similar education at community college, which was $300/credit hour. Most of my professors seemed to be recent college graduates, one of mine used the student's assignments in order to complete his (or her) own PhD.The professors in Math, Spanish, computer were great, the others had little to no experience in their given field. Also, the attendance policy seems more designed for high schoolers. In any class, having more than two absences (barring illness… with doctor's note, or death in the family) automatically drops your final grade by one letter. This is fine for those who live on campus but for those who have a commute, who work, and who have kids it is improbable. |
