This was my first choice school, but now I wish I would have went to North Georgia. During my freshman year, I, like every other freshman, was given a schedule for my fall and spring semesters. First of all, I was only given 14 hours each semester. To be considered a sophomore, i needed 30 at least! So I was already behind. Then, I had to sit in classes with teachers who barely spoke English! I studied so hard! I went to every tutor session, and still ended up failing to the point where I had to withdraw from the classes because there was no way I was going to pass. So then I had 10 hours that semester leaving me with 24 hours by the end of the spring. I decided to take a summer class because I needed more hours in. For four weeks, I studied my butt off making decent grades. I bombed one test, but was reassured I would be ok since there was going to be a dropped test and a curve at the end of the semester. At the end of the summer, I get my grade back, and it was a C! no test was dropped and no curve was given. So because of that class, I have lost the HOPE and only have 28 hours… I am a second year freshman today and am still treated like a freshman by the school. My adviser was of no help! This semester, I was put into a class that was added last second because there were so many students who wanted to take it. Because of this, we are the only class without a student instructor. I went to the help center in the library and the paid tutors had no idea how to help me with my work. So I am failing another class, but it is too late to withdraw because my instructor never put out midterm grades so I had no idea I was failing until it was too late. Also, because I am still a freshman, I got bottom of the barrel picks for next semester classes. I am trying to transfer out, but if I applied somewhere else now, I would be considered a freshman for an entire year!

Food is disgusting! I have had food poisoning on multiple occasions, plus the staff is ALWAYS rude!

Dorms are disgusting! I cant tell you how many roaches and silver fins I have had to kill! And if you put in a work order, don't expect anything to be fixed for at least two months.

Milledgeville area is really ghetto, I DO NOT recommend going places at night, we get plenty of emails talking about how people have been mugged, jumped, and sexually assaulted.

The funny thing is though, I came here for pre-pharmacy, because on the tour, they said they had it… well they don't and never did… I am basically trapped here for another semester… Please avoid if possible!
