While the Sierra Nevada College does have a nice small school feel, where everyone is very friendly. The academics are a complete joke. You can put in a minimum amount of effort and still get good grades. I looked back on some assignments I wrote for my classes when I was studying at Sierra Nevada College and the work I put into the assignments was shockingly bad and yet I still got B's and A's. The only way Sierra Nevada College is still in business is because they have 18 years kids, who just want to snowboard all day, take out lots of student loans or have their parents pay. Sierra Nevada College is great if you have a lot of money to waste, want to snowboard all day, and do not care about a quality education. |
