I have throughly enjoyed my time at this school. Transy provides it's students with many opportunities. It is up to the student to have initiative to make the best of these though. During my time I have joined greek life, had an internship, and played college sports. In addition, my liberal arts education has helped me find my passion. Upon entering I was undecided but I will be graduating with a major and two minors in fields I have discovered during my time here.

That being said Transylvania is not for everyone. It is a very small community and as such you can get a reputation quickly. If you plan on raging face and sleeping with everyone, people will find out. Transy can also be a little cliquey especially among the Greeks. It is not as bad as other colleges though (having spent time at a few). Because it is so small it's hard to remain separated.

In all honesty most students at Transy are a little nerdy. Most students enjoy being challenged and sharing our opinions with each other. This school really is an educational community, although we do know how to party on the weekends.

I think to really fit in with the student body at Transy you were most likely in the top of your class in high school, well liked but never the most popular, diverse in your interest, and open minded. These are the people that I think enjoy there time here most. Like I said it's not for everyone.
