Quinnipiac is good if you come from a specific background or are willing to overlook people who harshly overlook you for yours. They have respected nursing, occupational therapy, and physical therapy programs, so if you're interested in health sciences and want to attend a gorgeous, albeit homogeneous, campus, go here. Students are predominately from NY, CT, NJ, and MA and come from privileged backgrounds. Most of the student body and faculty are either Christian or Jewish. The health sciences appear to have the largest workload of all the majors, and their students are notably the most stressed of the student body. The clubs aren't strong but they get the job done and it adds to your resume. That is a running theme in this school, and because it is not recognized for my major I don't see the point in continuing here. Though a good school for health sciences, it's not worthy of a higher position than its "up and coming school" title. It has a long way to go and, overall, is only deserving of the praise it receives for its aesthetic. |
