I HATE THIS PLACE! I'm a freshman at UHV and before coming here i was under the impression that i was going to get a real college experience. I was wrong. After the first week of being here the reality set in on how horrid this place is. The food is utterly disgusting and limited and even though we pay full price for every single buffet meal, most of the time the don't even have the cafeteria open because the don't have any food in there except for ketchup and lettuce. Pathetic. They also do not care at all about the students who come here. I recently attended a school sponsored event and injured my knee because the sponsors were being reckless. Even though the event was sponsored by the school the most they would do for me was to change my dorm location. No financial assistance was provided and this has turned into a long term injury. Keep in mind that i was on crutches for a very long time without any help from the school. Trust me, you do not want to come to this University it will cripple you internally.
