Statistical Analyzer:

Great private small school. Administration, not so great. The school nickels and dimes you for everything including obscene fines, and parking violations. It seems as if they look for every chance to penalize you and make additional money in addition to the $40k a year for tuition. With regards to academics, I really enjoy the small class sizes. Teachers are readily available for any further explanation or help. Classes fill up fast however during registration, so you better have a backup plan if you can't get into all of the classes you want. If you plan on transferring to this school, beware that a lot of your credits will not transfer. This is my second year taking summer school classes just so I can be sure to graduate on time. What else.. if you are looking to party, its not impossible to find one. They are just off campus of course. Many people may wonder about the Christian aspect of PLNU. I enjoy being in an environment full of people who care about others. This school however can feel cliquey at times, and it is best to find a group of friends to call your own. Sometimes I wish I went to a larger university where I could meet more people on a daily basis. However, I love the location of this campus. I mean what beats living in southern California with 360 degree ocean views? I have mixed thoughts, but in all I love Loma.
