Great in terms of academics once you get into a major that you like. There are WAY TOO MANY REQUIREMENTS at USD. It is ridiculous and the GE requirements are quite challenging. The people are overall unfriendly and very snobby. I transferred to USD my sophomore year from a big state school in Oregon and it was a huge culture shock. I recommend anyone looking for a well rounded college experience with open people and a football team that you DO NOT CHOOSE USD. Eventually if you try hard enough, you find friends, but it takes a LONG TIME if you are looking for people who are not fake blondes with attitudes. If I did it again, I would most likely go somewhere else in a different part of the country with more interesting and down to earth people.
