Statistical Analyzer:

Although this university overall is an excellent one for small town Wisconsonites ready to step out of their hometowns and learn about the world, the Education department is inadequate in every way. The teachers are not challenging, organized, or helpful. The process is unnecessarily confusing due to their inability to organize it and explain it to the students. There is more busy work than actual education and the student teaching matches are made without care to the students; they are paired with unqualified teachers who often use them only as EA's. The education department is incredibly unfriendly to male students, and nontrads as well. Please do not waste your money and time as I did. It was a horrible experience where I never had a higher authority to go to for fear that I would be treated even worse. I cannot believe that this can actually happen to someone. (although I am a woman, I selected male on this form because I witnessed male students treated so badly that I wanted them to take notice of the sexism present in this program when making their decisions.) Since I am still finishing up my degree I did not supply my email for fear of repercussions.
