If you value your happiness, do NOT go to school here. While there are a very few good teachers, the rest of them will have you contemplating quitting school altogether. Corporate only caters to FUTURE students, and then neglects the ones they currently have. They put out fresh food for days that prospective students are touring. But you will never see that once you've enrolled. Another example is, if you eat IN the cafeteria, you may choose from ONE meal in the 5 restaurants. They will not allow you to get a side from more than one. And if you want your food to go, you will receive a frozen sandwich. That's it. There are limited places for students to park, with HUGE fees if you park in a spot meant for visitors. The music department is especially bad. The teachers continuously tell you that you will never make it as a performer and that you should switch to education. One student was harassed and bullied because he wanted to switch out of music altogether. There are LOTS of horror stories. One singer tried to go to graduate school in NY but was told that her teachers had ruined her voice. The required chapel is one big joke where they pretend to be religious but then talk about their sports team while the disinterested students look at their phones and whisper loudly. Oh, and if you don't get ALL your required chapels, you don't graduate. |
