Look elsewhere. Drew has some positive aspects but overall this school is average and not worth the money. Drew does not have any name recognition outside of NJ. Honestly, I didn't enjoy my time there and I felt that the academics were pretty fluffy. The courses lacked substance and there wasn't much work assigned. When I graduated from Drew, I kind of asked myself, what did I just get out of my education there. Maybe it wasn't the right fit for me but I felt that I would have benefited from a more challenging academic curriculum. Drew did not deliver on this end. The campus is pretty but honestly it's in the middle of a park and this has some serious drawbacks like flooding, deadwood falling all over from the trees and the lack of a university feel. Drew is good for a certain type of student and I recommend looking at the school if you are molded to Drew's environment. However, if you are looking for the real college experience with a challenging curriculum that makes you busy yourself to get a B plus, then do not look at this school. |
