Overall, i have kind of been disappointed with my CMU experience thus far. The quality of education is fairly good,and the professors know their stuff, but the professors don't really seem to care much about how you are doing grade wise. Also, the parking really sucks as you have to walk about a half of a mile to your dorm if you are a freshman, and the university is always trying to nickle and dime you. The surrounding city really doesn't have anything but bars and if you enjoy doing anything outside then you will be out of luck.I wish i could go back and rethink my decision a little, as i would choose a university with less students and in a better city.
