Statistical Analyzer:

On a positive note, ETBU is very beautiful, the professors help, and for the most part, the students are very nice. If you're looking for a college to party at then ETBU is not for you. If you've been sheltered for most of your life then it may be the college for you. Honestly, if I could do it over again I would not have chose ETBU for many reasons. One of the main reasons is that they don't tell you a lot of things until you're there, which is too late. They have fees for almost everything… For example: not turning in a book on time, not putting the trash in the dumpster (even if it's full), missing a meeting, etc.

If you are struggling finacially then I would advise against going to ETBU. The full meal plan is $2,000+ and most days it's nasty. If you don't get enough scholarships/loans you will be on a monthly payment plan and you will not be able to charge books to your account (they don't tell you that) so you will have to buy them out of pocket (NEVER buy them from the bookstore, use Chegg or some other online store because you will waste money). Also, if you want to go to a college in a fun city, ETBU is not your place. Everyone usually leaves on the weekend to go to Longview or Shreveport to do something fun. In my opinion, if you want to have easy classes and professors then go to ETBU. I'm majoring in Psychology and I swear I study the night before and still make As on my exams. If you want a challenge, then maybe ETBU is not for you (unless you're a nursing major). Another thing, always make sure that you know what classes you need to take because you do not want to be a "Super Senior" (being there over four years). A lot of people leave ETBU after the first semester of their Freshmen year. ETBU is too high in my opinion. It's $30000+ and the only class that I've learned something in is my intro Psychology class.When it comes to choosing a college ALWAYS ask real students because they will tell you things the recruiters don't. Lastly, this was my experience at ETBU, no need to get mad at me for my opinion.
